To protect the community from spam, fraud, ban-evasion, and automated abuse, we process your IP address when you create an account or join a video call. We do notstore your raw IP address for this purpose — we store a one-way, irreversible cryptographic hash of it, which lets us count repeated attempts from the same network without ever being able to recover the address itself. These security records are kept only for a short period (typically 24 hours) and are then automatically deleted. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in keeping the platform safe and preventing abuse.

We never share your conversations, emotional data, or anything you tell Kai with advertisers, and none of it is used for ad targeting. We do not sell your personal data.
