Is there a free plan?

Free is the whole product. Unlimited Spark, unlimited audio and chat, unlimited DMs, unlimited Kai AI, unlimited Canvas images, all of Spaces and Feed. It doesn't expire and it doesn't shrink. The only difference between Free and Kai+ is ads.

What do I get with Kai Plus?

No ads. That is the entire difference, and it's deliberate. Paying does not get you better matches, priority in Spark, more of Kai's attention, or a different version of Kai. We are not going to build a product where the people who can pay get treated better than the people who can't.

Do you run ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on the free plan. We'd rather tell you exactly how it works than let you find out. Ads appear in a few places between sections of the app. They never appear inside a Spark call, inside a DM, or inside a conversation with Kai. Those spaces stay yours. Ads on Kai are placed by an ad partner that reads the text of your chat to pick something relevant. That happens automatically, in the moment, and the text is not stored by them or attached to you. Advertisers themselves never receive your conversations, your DMs, your Kai Passport, or your matches. They do not get your name, your email, or a profile of you, and they have no say in what appears in your feed or how Kai responds to you. No person outside our team reads what you write here. On our team, we look at conversations only for safety escalation, a moderation dispute, a bug you have reported, or when the law requires it. If you'd rather see none of it, Kai+ removes ads completely for ₹159 a month.

Does paying change my matches?

No. Spark matching, Spaces and everything else work identically on both plans.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes, monthly, cancel in two taps. The ads come back at the end of the month you've paid for. Nothing else changes. You keep your history, your Passport, your Spaces and your connections.

Wait, why is some of this free, then?

Accepted Answer

Because a place built for people who feel alone shouldn't put the good part behind a card payment. Ads and paying members cover the cost between them. That's the arrangement.

Is the price the same everywhere?

No. We set the price for each country rather than converting from dollars.

Then use Kai free, with everything unlocked. That's the design, not a consolation prize.
